Sami was nervous, he had never spoken to a Council member, much less five of them! They would be waiting in there, and probably irritated from all the daily rigors of being in power. They probably heard twenty other petitions before him just today, so what would make him stand out? He didn't know, he just decided to act as confident as possible...
When he was announced, one of the members spoke up, she had short silvery-white hair, and she was looking right at him! He swallowed and said, "I'm Sami, son of Forber, aged 16, and I am petitioning to be considered one of The Chosen."
(Then at this point, the council will go over the character's profile, and make an assessment and post it here. Or you can request to have a private assessment. After a week, the petition here will be deleted, and if you were declined, you have an opportunity to try again, but we expect changes in roleplay and/or profile.)
